Everything Old Is New Again!
I have a deep and abiding love for Vintage clothing and accessories.
Here’s why: Vintage is timeless. Vintage is creative. Vintage is fun. Shopping for vintage is the ultimate style adventure. There are no rules, and there is no map. You never know where you’ll find the perfect piece, but when you do it’s magic.
It doesn’t have to be expensive, or a certain material, or have a pedigree (although that is fun), and it definitely doesn’t need to be a “label”.
The chance of running into someone wearing the same outfit as you is about 1 in 1,000,000,000 and I, for one, like those odds.
You are wearing a piece of history. In fact, you’re wearing a story.
The quality of the construction and materials can’t be beat. Okay, not all vintage was created equal, but pretty much anything from the 1960’s or earlier is just going to blow your mind. Fast fashion this is not.
If you answer yes to any of these questions:
- Have you ever rummaged through a garage sale or flea market and thought this is fun?
- Ever raided your grandmother’s jewelry box?
- Worn your mom’s wedding dress?
- Or just pulled something out of the waaaay back of your closet?
Then you’re already a vintage enthusiast.
